Default Setting up a GM account with new EQEmuLoginServer.exe & DB

It was fairly simple to setup a GM account using a single DB and minilogin; however, using the new EQEmuLoginServer.exe and Vale's guide (stickied at the top), I'm not sure, or am unable, to setup up a GM account using the new DB structure.

Thanks in advance for any help =)

its the same as it was before, you need to make the status change in the server DB and not the loginserver DB.

just find your account name in the account table and add 255 to the status field and your good to go.

I had one oddity setting up the eqemuloginserver that might help. What I found is that in the logindb the account name has to be encrypted like the password.

Watch the eqemuloginserver window and you will see a message that says <scrambled name> not found. I then went into the logindb (not the emu db) and replaced literal name with scrambled name and everything works like a champ.

I love eqemuloginserver in spite of this littlle oddity.

It uses SHA hash functions for passwords so is that what you mean? I have never encrypted the user name and it works fine.
