Default Players I.P.'s

Do we currently have a way, other than being ingame to find a players I.P.s?, I have noticed over the past few days that certain players are hacking using the MQwarp hack and I have no way of finding their ip's to ban them. Yes I know warping all over the place is no biggie, but it seems to be crashing the zone when they do, and after a few of those, if im not around the server will lock up till i clear those "zone.exe' messages out and the zones reload.

Thanks for any help

Check your hackers table in the db, it contains the account name, charname, what command was detected, what zone it was done in and what time it occurred.

Won't give you their IP, but you can ban the account that way.

and based on the login name/char name, you can search the log files in your eqemu/logs folder for their IP address if you still need it.

btw this is why we are hoping for a last logon ip field in the DB one day..

Yeah, the last ip field would be great to have in the accounts table sometime. I know code was submitted to do it a while back, but I haven't had a chance to review or test it just yet.

As for players warping, you should make sure that they actually are warping. If you are just seeing entries in the hackers table, you should take those with a big grain of salt. The hacker entries there include many false positives still, so you don't want to jump to the conclusion that any entries you see in there mean someone is cheating.

Warping should not be causing zone crashes. If you are getting zone crashes, then it is probably a different issue.
