Default Help please?

I am new to the new emulator setup and I cannot figure out how to get online to play. I have pasted Host=eqemulator.net:5998 into the host file but it won't save. If you can please explain to me how to login or add a emu server to play on I would really appreciate it. I wanted to play on Project 99 but I have no clue how.. Please email me @ Scorpionblue77@gmail.com
Thanks for your patience!

Sounds like you have vista or win 7 with UAC on. Copy your eqhost.txt file to the Root of C: edit it , save then copy back to your EQ folder, overwriting the file there.

Default Thanks

I did that and it goes right back to the file ending 15009. I even uninstalled, reinstalled and saved the new server log in before ever launching the game (as I feared this was the issue) Thanks for your help..

Make sure you are not patching. I.e. run eqgame.exe , not everquest.exe. I would recommend using wineq2 and set patch to off in the options.
