Default Another can't connect thread...

I can connect to the log-in server, but after I choose a server, I get a brief pause, and then it displays this:
"eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I checked the debug file, and everything seems fine, but here's a copy anyways:

This was an attempt at hidden forest, but I can't log into any of the other servers either.
I am running xp sp3, and I long ago downloaded the amd dual-core fix. I made certain to go into options and set game resolution to my monitor resolution already, also. I don't have a firewall, though I do have a router.
Is there a port I should open on that perhaps to make the connection? Seems weird I could connect to login server but not the game server on a port issue, but I am game for anything at this point.
