Default Choosing Class/Race?

Every server I enter, the character creator screen comes up showing a Human/Warrior, but no options to change it to anything else.

I'm bafled, I searched around and found nothing.

Create New Character button...

What client are you using ?? Should be SOF or Titanium... (Really Titanium is still the most bug free atm)

I think he means that he sees the character select screen, but there is no UI with it. I have seen posts around here somewhere talking about that and how to fix it, but I can't recall exactly what the fix was. I think uninstalling EQ completely, deleting the directory and then installing it again and setting it up for the emulator without patching would be the first thing to try.

I read over your guide again, and noticed something a little different from the guide I used.

""C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme"" is not the patch path I put in the target box. The link here says that that the name is not valid.

I used """C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme -w" It's not the same, but hell, I wants to play EQ ;-;

EDIT: Also, looking around, I see some people have an "eqemu" folder. I don't have that, is that were my screw up comes from?
