Default Something i've just noticed... corpse release question

the highest i've gotten is level 12 on some Private servers and currently on my own server still very low level. however every time i die it automatically loads me to the zone where i'm soul bound.

my question is. does it no longer ask you to release corpse first in case you can be rezzed?

That was only in world of warcraft. Everquest always sent you back to your bind point immediately, and your corpse could be rezzed later.

they implemented corpse release on EQ as well, but that was well past the expansion Emu is using, so this feature is not available.

Actually, it is an option in SoF and maybe in the Titanium client as well. It is just that we don't have the packet handling setup to allow it to function yet. I did some testing with it on SoF and could get it to almost work, but it still needs more work before it can actually be used.
