Default Oops! Where'd my icon go?

Quick question - I had a virus on my computer recently, so I had to do a system restore (not to be confused with a total reformat) I had done a system restore one other time, and it didn't bother most of my desktop items, everything was still there, and everything still worked. Basically I did it this time, because it usually dumbs the effects of a virus down enough to where I can actually work on removing it. Well, the virus was removed but my EQ shortcut is gone. When I look in my files folder, I still have all of my files in there (including the ones I modded like nektulos etc.) But the shortcut's gone, and when I click any of the icons it will try to connect me to the real game. Anyone know if the files still work after this? Or if it's just a shortcut issue, i'm having trouble getting it all to work.

EQ works perfectly fine when orphaned (meaning being separated from the original environment in which it was installed). You need only recreate the shortcut. If you've actually patched at all, you will need to reinstall though.
