Default client wont start since SoD added

i recently put SoD on my computer added all the files that were needed
for the server i want to play on , and changed the host server /.
now when ever i try to open my short cut that i made i get an error that says " eqgame.exe has encountered an error and has to shut down "

i find this weird cause i did the same thing on hubby's comp and his works and mine does not . if anyone could please help me get mine working it would be great . Thank you .

SoD doesn't need any extra files, unless you are talking about custom files for a specific server or something, or unless you are actually talking about the Underfoot client.

Have you tried the FAQ in my sig for some suggestions? If it crashes right off the bat, it is most likely a resolution issue.

You didn't mention what extra files you added. Maybe they are causing the problem. Also, what OS are you on? If Vista, maybe you have some kinda UAC issue and need to run EQ as administrator. Also, how much RAM do you have in your PC, cause SoD uses more RAM than Titanium does, so weaker PCs might have issues running it if only like 512MBs of RAM are available.

On SoD, you shouldn't really have to worry about dual core issues. The only thing you may need is the AMD Optimizer.

Just google "AMD Optimizer" and you will find it in like the first link or so.
