Project 1999: Kunark Release Date 3/25/11
Our first expansion will be released March 25, 2011, time yet to be announced.
If you have retired until Kunark, or want to start a new Iksar character, now is the time. We have come a long way since pre-Kunark launch!
General P99 Features:
- Legit classic timeline. Zones and items are added/removed depending on their original patch history.
- No boxing. Each person you encounter is a real life individual.
Features, Recent and Kunark-Specific:
- Ability to play Iksar race
- Levels 50-60 unlocked
- Original pre-revamp zones: Veeshan's Peak 1.0, City of Mist 1.0, Droga/Nurga 1.0, Howling Stones 1.0, Chardok 1.0
- Limited-time Kunark loot will be in game: Mosscovered Twigs, Gem Encrusted Rings, Lockets of Escape, etc. GL!
- Working Kunark boat transportation. The boats, including the Maidens Voyage, are back.
- Level 50-60 Discipline system controlled via /discipline command, not tomes.
- Classic spell data. Spells have been returned to their original state, some nerfed, others made classically more powerful.
- Original spell rarity. Dropped Kunark spell scrolls will drop rarely and from the correct npcs. I expect them to be quite valuable.
- Soulbound keys. (If you die while in possession of a key to Sebilis, it will be moved to your inventory at your bind point.)
- Bind-within distance areas of Kunark added. OT outpost, FM ruins, FV city, etc.
- Many scripts written with Multi-Questing in mind. (chainable)
- Kunark evacs can only be cast from Kunark dungeons.
- Working Stamina Loss/Fatigue system. Weight will once again be a factor when using heavy weapons, and the "zing" type Invigor spells have purpose.
- Disarm has finally been enabled.
Kunark Beta will remain open prior to release, and can be found in the green list of servers.

As an additional note.. we have a GM event scheduled for release.
Details here:
Quote:
What to expect.
We plan to have a live dynamic scavenger hunt type quest as the kick off leading towards the unlock of Kunark. This event will begin some time between 6-7 PM Eastern. Depending on how quickly people complete the necessary steps of this quest and completing each phase will determine exactly when Kunark will become available, but I suspect it will last 2 to 3 hours.
There will be serverwide messages throughout the evening keeping everyone up to date on the progression of the live quest, as well as when Kunark does open. The opening of the zones will coincide with the level cap being raised to 60 as well as the ability to create Iksars. This will all happen without a server patch.
Serverwide Rares
Beginning with the unlock of Kunark and lasting only throughout that night, every mob on the server will have a very rare chance to drop high value classic items, such as the Guise of Deceiver and others. To promote fairness for all levels, and to prevent high level characters from slaughtering low level zones, these items will only have a chance to drop if experience was awarded for the kill (aka, the "Trivial" loot system). We may turn this feature off after enough items have dropped, so don't miss your opportunity!
Achievements
As players obtain certain server first goals, they will be broadcasted to the server. Currently the system will only congratulate players for level achievements, but other type achievements such as mob kills or quests may be added. For example, a broadcast will automatically congratulate the first players to levels 51 to 60. It will also congratulate each individual class to level 60, and it will also announce various Iksar levels, including pre-50, and also the first of each Iksar class to 60.

Titanium is as stable as SoD and UF. It has issues with multicore processors sometimes, but there are many posts about resolutions for that.
I normally run UF for play now, but I started with Titanium before moving on to SoD and now UF and I do not have a problem running any of them.
