Default Login Time Out

When logging in from the launcher I receive a "timeout occured" error, I have a clean install of EQ Titanium from an ISO copy that I have, the copy consists of 5 ISO's of each disc and was installed via a virtual drive mounting each disk when required, I created with the
Code:
 C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme
added on the launcher and my EQhost file modified to
Code:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998"
on inital run it ran the launchpad patcher, I verified my eqhost file after it ran and it was not modified, I cannot check my client install file because the Everquest\logs directory does not exist, also verified the log file could not be found on the everquest directory.

I've also referenced the FAQ for this issue, my timeout occured error is near instant indicating that I do not have a patched client, but that my EQhost.txt file is incorrect I reverified it for no extra spaces and also changed it to directly point to the IP address
Code:
 [LoginServer]
Host=216.59.33.136:5998
and port of the login server instead of the hostname, issue still persists.

Anyone have an idea of how I can still check my client log to find the version or know a way to correct this issue?

We do not support illegally attained clients here. For one thing, it is illegal and against the rules to discuss them at all. For another thing, there is no way for us to verify that there isn't some issue with the client or version of the client you are using. Also, you have a trailing double-quote at the end of the first eqhost.txt file you posted, but maybe that was some copy/paste error, I dunno. And, if you don't have a logs folder, then something is most likely wrong with your install either way.

Having an ISO copy of something doesn't mean its illegally acquired I keep an archive of all my old games on my media server so I can just mount the disks instead of having to hunt the CDs, I'll double check the eqhost file again and see if I can find the original CDs if not i'll just order another copy. Thanks for your help.
