Delete Files for "fresh" install

I read a forum post once when looking for way to troubleshoot crashing clients, and it suggested deleting certain files. UI files being one of them, but there were more. I can not find the post (I don't believe it was on this forum). Does anyone know what files these were.

Basically the jist of the post was saying that most people copy their eq directory to backup and make new copies of it and that certain files should be remade fresh by having the game make them. Any help would be appreciated.
