Default Time our at login

I have read the FAQ, reset the modem, used a fresh install of Titanium, and followed the instructions.

I still timeout when I try to log in, the timeout is almost instant.

I do not have a firewall, but do have a router. What all do I need to enter to make sure port 5998 is going to the correct place?

THanks

You shouldn't need to do anything on your network as long as 5998/5999 ports aren't be blocked by firewall or proxy. If you are getting a time-out, it is most likely due to your eqhost.txt file. Make sure you have the correct port for your client, which you can find info on in the playguide.

Thanks, I have downloaded a program called eq emulator launcher, it times out, and I have downloaded a program called pfportcheckr, 5998 was blocked, I was able to open it up according to this program.

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

That is a cut and paste of my eqhost.txt file. When I first install and try to run, it downloads some files, taking about a minute or so, then I get a sony logon screen, I am assuming that is normal. With the eqemulator program, I get its own log on screen.

Thanks
