Default game crash when loading server

Ok for starts:
Using Underfoot from Steam (had it working just fine til I had a net outage and got d/ced from the game)
Uninstalled and reinstalled (zzz) though I think uninstall didn't remove all local files so that may be my next tweak.
The two servers I have tried were the 1999 Project and The Hidden Forest

Now for what is happening;
I load up just fine, accept the EULA, Login, Get to server screen, hit Play then it sits there at a black screen. And either I wait forever and nothing happens-pull up the control panel to find eqgame not responding or it pops up saying eqgame has experienced a problem and has to go take a nap.

Solutions?

Dont think P99 and UF get along at all and THF should work fine.
Not sure why you would have issues there

Just did a full wipe and install of EQ and still won't load. According to a post on their forums something about Steam having released a recent update to SoD (said nothing about UF but I am assuming this to be the case) Why my working download stopped working though is odd. *sigh* and I was just getting back into the swing of things =(

Check the following link for fixes to common problems.
Code:
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=EQEmuFAQ
Also be mindful of the port numbers you must use to login with the various clients. Titanium uses 5998 and SoD/Underfoot uses 5999.

Make sure your client is one of the supported versions. http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...ClientVersions
