Default ZAM Zone Parser

I am having problems using the ZAM Zone Parser. When I run it, it gives me the following error:

"Component MSHFLXGD.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

Now, I did do some research before I posted. I took the following steps:

1) I opened an a CMD by clicking on "run as administrator".

2) I navigated to C:\Windows\system32 and typed regsvr32 MSHFLXGD.OCX but it just gives me the error message "the module mshflxgd.ocx failed to load".

3) next i tried to run the VB6 runtime files thinking I was missing the file (that was another suggestion in google). However, that did not solve the problem and I am still getting the same error message.

I know other people have had this problem. How do I solve this?

Okay, I haven't fiddled with the ZAM Zone Parser but it seems like you're missing a crucial file that is required to even use said program. This can be found in similar programs like GeorgeS' tools, they use .ocx, did this ZAM Zone Parser come with a register_ocx.bat or anything similar to do the regsvr32 for you?

First off, thanks so much for responding, Kingly. yes it came with the register file. I used it like I do for all of the other utilities I've downloaded (EQitems, database Editor, etc).

I've been able to get the other utilities to work. But for some reason, it seems like a file, namely MSHFLXGD.OCX, seems to be missing. I've done reasearch online and it seems like it's a Windows file. I can't seem to figure out how to get the file. I did download and install the odbc drives from Georges site beforehand.

Was wondering if anyone else had any issues and how they resolved it. Been searching for a couple of days now and am stumped lol.

Haha, you're welcome, I just didn't want you to not get any response. I don't know how exactly to help you, sorry. D:

No problem. Hey, you tried! Hopefully someone will see this who's had similar experiences. We shall see.

I'm uploading now, the updated GeorgeS_EqEmu_Files.rar to include that ocx in a few mins.
Rerun register ocx so you can run the program.
