Default No Luck

Been trying to get all this stuff to work, but keep getting a Zone.exe error. Tried all the suggestions on the board, but could have missed something.
I am running XP and want to run a standalone server.

I start Minilogin -

Loginserver.ini read.
MiniLoginAccounts.ini read.
Server mode: Standalone
Login server listening on Port:5999

I start World -

Using Database 'eq' at localhost
EQEMu 0.3.12 - Wiederbelebung
Loading zone names & items...
EmuShareMem.dll loaded.
Loading items from database...
...done.
LoginServer.ini read.
Loading guild ranks...done.
World server listening on: port 9000
Connected to LoginServer: localhost:5999

Then I start Boot5zones -

5 windows open up. The first 4 have:

Using database 'eq' at localhost
EQEMu 0.3.12 - Wiederbelebung
Loading zone names, items & NPCs...
EMuShareMem.dll loaded.
...done.

The last one has the same, but has an additional line at the end:

Loading NPCTypes from database...
...done.

Then I get a Zone.exe error and it wants to send a report to MS.
error signature is:
AppName: zone.exe
AppVer: 0.0.0.0
ModName: zone.exe
ModVer0.0.0.0
Offset: 00058ff0

I'll keep digging, but any help is appriciated.

Default recheck

recheck all the files you edited closely for the slightest error. I have seen times when just a single space could cause an error. If you keep getting problems change your bootzone5.bat file to have localhost on both sides instead of 127.0.0.0 for some people that helps a lot. Just recheck all the stuff, when i get home from work i'll check out my files real quick so I can help a little better =).

I'll double check files. I presently have localhost on both sides. I have tried both ways.

When the boot5zones is done, it should have "entering sleeping mode" at the bottom

Try copying over your spells_en file into the directory again. Think that may be your problem..

No luck with spells, but did notice one thing.

When I start World. exe, I get

New TCP connection: 127.0.0.1:1670

in the MiniLogin screen.

And after all is opened, error happens, then I close all btu MiniLogin, I get

Dropping Connection: 0.0.0.0:0
Removing LWorld from ip:0.0.0.0, port:0

If you are trying to setup your own personal server for yourself, I've found that putting the IP of the server computer in the bootzones and loginserver files.

i.e:

boot5server:

@echooff
start zone . (server ip here) 7995 (server ip here)
start zone . (server ip here) 7996 (server ip here)

etc etc...

did you download the database files?

did you use the exes from the 3.12 zip or some of the modified exes?
