Default WinXP Zone.exe(3.12) error

Ok first lemme tell you the setup and what is working.
Using EQEmu 3.12 with the 3.11+DB update, using minilogin to get to my own server from the same PC offline. Have latest mysql(dled yesterday) and latest EQ patch (also yesterday). Minilogin runs fine, World.exe runs fine, and without booting the zones I can login and create characters, but clicking 'enter world' tells me that zone is unavailable. When I run boot5zones.bat I get the generic XP error message and no additional info comes up in the Zone.exe box. Zone.exe gets to the line where it says "Loading NPC Types from database............done" and stops there when the error is raised. I noticed older versions had a zonent.exe, surely NT platforms are still supported, especially considering Windows XP as a player in that field? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try hitting CTRL+ALT+DELETE, going to the processes tab, and setting the priority of eqgame.exe to BelowNormal, and the priority of World.exe and all Zone.exe's to AboveNormal or High.
