Default Which client to use?

So, I picked up a copy of Titanium and Secrets of Faydwer. Is there a reason to use one over the other for "public" servers? How about for a privately run server? The FAQ says that SoF is a more advanced client than Titanium, but implies it is unstable/buggy.

Thanks!

Depends on the server. P99 restricts to Titanium, so you have no choice there. Other servers are free to restrict as they please as well. On PEQ I use the UF client because SoF+ give you more HP and UF seems to work fairly well. Haven't tried SoF/SoD in a while, so can't really comment on them. The RoF client still needs some polish, but development on that has stalled. Someone is trying to get the current Steam download working (RoF2)

Think Uleat is pushing the ROF2. I have been kinda looking forward to it. That said...UF with a few tweaks for equipment graphics is pretty nice

I have also been really looking forward to an Open Client..but not sure when that might land...

I am having some issues with it, currently..but, I'm not giving up on it

It's just taking longer than I had hoped it would.
