DB Editor Questions

Was curious if there is an alternative DB editor other than the PEQ Editor. I can't seem to get it functioning for whatever reason. Also was curious asto what people use for item editing/spells and such,do people still use GeorgeS tool or is there a different program available now? Sorry for the questions been over 10years since ive messed with this stuff lol.
