Default New ISP

I have searched for issues pertaining to AT&T, and I did find some threads, but the solutions provided did not seem to fit my issue that I am having.

I recently switched over to AT&T internet service - I have a peculiar issue when characters zoning into certain zones, they get disconnected as well as everyone else on the server, except my account which is on the LAN.

This condition leads me to believe that it is a port/firewall issue, but I have verified, and re-verified that all the ports are setup correctly.

-'port-checker' websites say that mysql port is closed, yet I am able to communicate with EoC 2.0.

I have spent the last 2 days trying everything I can think of, including talking to AT&T support (which was a COMPLETE joke).

Is anyone familiar with this type of issue with an AT&T connection? (ppl getting disconnected when zoning)

I would like to keep my AT&T connection if possible, its a far better connection that I previously had, so if possible I would like to get everything working on the AT&T conenction.

But as of now, I reverted vack to my old ISP (which the service was not disconnected yet) and there is currently NO zoning problems, no one gets DC'd like it does with the AT&T connection.

thanks

I have run my server on U-Verse for many years now without an issue. You may search for some threads on how to DMZ those ATT gateways.
