Default NPC GM-Monk not showing texture

I am having a weird issue with the GM Monks in North Qeynos. When zoning in they do not show the proper monk texture, but when I do a zone repop they correctly show their monk textures. Anyone else have/had this issue or any info?
Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Texture is set to 0, I have tried a few other variations, nothing seems to work so far.

Hmm, try this: #npcedit texture 4
4 should be Monk Leather.

Ya, tried that already. Works for the other non gm monk in the same zone, but not for the gm monks, they just appear as regular human leather not monk graphics until I do a repop then the proper graphic appears, strange.

I only changed graphic properties pertaining to Bots...

This might be related to the misuse of texture properties I spoke about in this thread:
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38585

If this particular issue doesn't work itself out, I'll add it to the criteria of the other thread's issue.

is it a custom gm monk you put in? if you did you might have the gender set to 0 which defaults it to a male human but causes glitches. try gender 2

No nothing custom, just the normal gm monks in north qeynos. I have tried all variations I can think of gender class texture nothing seems to work. When I zone in they are dougs basically. I repop the zone and they appear as they should.

the problem seems to extend beyond just monk leather. I noticed i can use #texture 12 on a mob and it displays correct texture. if i change it in the DB and repop it comes back as a low texture like 0 usually i think. It looks like it tends to happen on textures over 2 or 3, i can't find a lot of consistency other than higher number textures are more an issue than low number textures.
