Default Can't Register OCX files

So now that my server is up and running (thanks again for the help!) I decided I wanted to try my hand at doing some editing. I went to Georges' Tools site and DL'ed and installed the drivers. I then DL'ed the eqitems tool but I can't register the the ocx files. I get the below error.

I get that error for each file the batch tries to run. I am on Win 8 64bit. I ran the batch as an admin and still had the same error. I Googled the error code, but all I keep finding are articles about Win XP not starting correctly.

Any ideas?

Go to your resourced folder where eqitems is pulling from

open a command prompt

Copy folder path

type cd then right click on the top bar and click paste then click enter
(you should be at the folder now)

copy this line

Code:
for %i in (*.ocx) do regsvr32 %i
click enter and you should be set. this worked for me the other day. still no luck with npceditor d_melee tho..

I get these errors when running that command or the batch file. And yes, I was running it from the resources folder

try running it as administrator.

Also silly question but did you try opening eqitems.exe to see if it works?

That was run as admin. I did try running eqitems.exe It finds the database and connects to it, but when I hit the Start button I get a Run time error 339 : Component a.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

So I apparently wasn't running it as admin... Even though I am logged in on the computer as the admin, I guess I still had to right click CMD and select run as admin. Once I did that I was able to register each one.
