Default Underfoot voes..

Hiyas all!

I've been trying to find a solution to this but I haven't found any previous thread that sheds any light on my problem..
I got my server set up on a 64-bit system running Ubuntu, and I can connect and play just fine with the Titanium client.. however, the problem is that
whenever I try to log on with the Steam-version of the Underfoot Client, I get stuck on the character screen after character selection for a few minutes,
then get dropped back to the login menu again.

I've also tried to connect to another server with the UF client, and that worked just fine, so the problem must reside on my end and not on the client side...

The world.log gets assaulted by opcode errors, showing:

Code:

Might be the bug mentioned in this thread:

http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=33228

Solution was to disable optimisation for 64 bit (take the -O2 off the command line args).

Thank you kindly for your quick reply! And thank you so much for saving what little left of hair I have on my head considering I've pulled out a conisderable chunk while trying to fix it, removing -O in makefile really did help.. and now it works flawlessly (so far..)!

I know this is a late reply, but I am having the exact same problem. Which files do I need to remove -o2 from?

These are my makefiles:

I do not appear to have any in the world or zone directories.

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed my problem, and it was not Linux related.
