What server do YOU prefer and WHY?

I'm curious what all those out there prefer to play on, and why.

I am returning to the emulated servers (I used to play on Scorpius 2k way back when), and now I am debating between PEQ and P99.

I'm curious what everyone here prefers and WHY?

If anyone can share some insight.

I don't intend for this to be a flame war or anything, just a simple discussion of preferences, and why they have them.

Project 1999 is more of the classic EverQuest feel and requires the old Titanium client, as well as custom files.

Project EQ is the father of the database that we use as a project, they are the main grouping of developers and this is where most content is pushed from, as well as support for new clients (as well as help from Trevius at Storm Haven) and fixes to the source.

There are also several custom servers in the Preferred servers, like Lootfest, Leetsauce Productions, Kimura's Project, Imperium, and Chronicles of Norrath. Custom by high stats or just a twist on the progression, it depends on what you like as to what you will play, just give them all a try. There are also custom Legends servers like Storm Haven, The Hidden Forest, and EZ Server, these are Legends because of their contributions to EQEmulator and their long-standing status as a well-populated server.

All in all, it's just a matter of personal opinion as to what you play on, whether you play a custom, legit, or non-legit server or play a populated or non-populated server. Just my thoughts, feel free to ask questions if you have any.
