Default merc_stats

Tweaking around with mercs a bit to make them not so ridiculous at lower levels I did some stat modifications on the merc_stats table. However, those stats are not reflected in my merc when I do a #npcstats. mec_npc_type_id and level match what I'm seeing in game. What might I be missing?

Figured it out. I was picking J1 mercs and apparently the table entries I edited were A1 mercs. What defines that? The "clientlevel" column?

Side question: Are group roles working for mercs yet? It doesn't appear they are. My tank still follows me around if I set him to tank and myself to puller. Or is there some additional code I need to source in?
