Big fat ugly ogre

Playing this game, I wonder things like:

It makes sense that the guards at Kaladim would kill an ogre on site. They're racist jerks, as are ogres. But why can my ogre wander freely through Kelethin? Sure my ogre can't buy or sell there, but why do the wood elves tolerate ogres?
