Default Lets make EQ Dark again
All a combo of original '99 release zone files and some tweaking the database. Messing with the fog and whatnot, turning sky to 1 in the zone table so it gets dark.

Would the vision racials or light sources work against this?

Absolutely. This is just restoring eq to its original state. Fog glitches the day night cycle so turning sky to 1 in the zone table eliminates the fog.
