Maze talked to me on friday mentioning a desire for a diablo server. Mentioned it to TheGrandPackard, and us 3 decided to do a weekend project to spin up a diablo-esque server.

Initial proof of concept is out - Act 1: Legacy of Cain

Features:
Diablo RNG itemization with millions of combinations
Mob categories (Champions, Uniques, Bosses)
New AI roaming system

Likely will be solo friendly.
Likely will be wiped after a week or so, depending on dev speed.
Planned to toss a linear storyline in.

Please note:

This is a proof of concept. Barely even in an "alpha" mode.

Should be more complete by next week, but feel free to stop by and test things out.

To highlight the features:
RNG'd items using augments, so there's endless combinations

Named mobs (with lastnames and prefix/suffix to note specialties)

Want to note, I did say I was going to wipe in a week or so, but it's going to be longer than that. I have my girlfriend visiting for 2 weeks, and then we need to do some heavy dev before we are in any shape to wipe, so feel free to hop on and give feedback and enjoy the server!
May be months before we're anywhere ready wipe.

XP is really fast, though, so you can just try out the exp

Heh, bummer. I was doing a server with augments creating random gear - you guys beat me to it

Good luck with the server, I'm gonna go awol again and think of something else unique instead!

Don't let the efforts stop yours, no way the project will end up same way just with each person's twist.

All good! I will take years to get anything rolled out anyway. I have lots of ideas kicking around in this old noggin - it just takes me forever to actually get started.
