A weird twist of fate happened, and one of my old friends appeared who made a server project with me ages ago... So we talked, then spent some time and made another project.

Those who played on classless would probably find this server enjoyable.

Here's some of what we have so far.

-Power sets - While not truly a classless experience, you may choose up to 3 powers at a time which determine your class.
Pick from different power sets and make your own class! Or recreate one similar to a classic EverQuest class. The choice is yours!

- Stat-based gameplay. Increase your stats and dominate your foes.

- A completely new starting zone, Edge's Anguish!
Plus, a completely custom character selection zone.

-Randomized loot that scales with player level.

-Incursions: Invade Norrath from the realm of Discord, and wreak havoc!
Incursions are mainly for leveling and gear grinding, plus meeting new people. They also scale dynamically to player level!

-Dungeons: Randomized experiences that provide randomized objectives.
After you invade Norrath, try your hand at some increased difficulty in the dungeons! Bring friends!

-Raids: Static adventures that provide some of the rarest gear out there.
Bring friends - you're gonna need them.

No plans for PvP as of right now.

For those not keeping up to date on our project (there's been about 100 accounts made ingame during our initial testing period, and more than that in our discord) it's still going to be a thing but we are keeping it closed to the outside world while we make adjustments.

Also, the server will be doing a rebranding during this period.. keep your eyes peeled for a new thread eventually. A lot of you are about to be made very happy regarding an recent but old project we did involving everyone as a ranger...

This is awesome idea - MMO in reverse. Instead of being good guys saving Norath from monsters - you are the monster. City raids I suppose?

This does however creates some conflicting lore about certain good-aligned classes - druids/rangers and clerics/paladins as servants of Discord?

Good and evil is subjective. If you believe you are doing things right, you are doing the work of good.

IE; Tae Ew had clerics among its ranks, despite being followers of Cazic.

So could Erudites. So did clerics of Innoruk.
yeah that part of EQ never made sense to me.
I mean you can have evil priests - but their spell set should not be identical to the good priests - it should be EVIL (ok DARK)

evil/dark paladin - is essentially SK
druids are tricky - wild/unkempt druids still nature lovers, they just hate everyone who is not a tree or a bear but most likely will not be pro-discord.

Of course - your rules - your lore
