Default Zoning and items

I have finally created a server, made most of the NPCs show up, ect. My only problems are that I don't start with any items and none of the merchants carry any items, And I can't zone, I just bump into an invisible wall. I'll admit I don't know much about what I'm doing, but I seem to be learning fast. Anyone know what I could do to fix these problems?

First of all, the this should probably be under win 32 help =)
But:
You need to change the sratgin items in the DB
Take a look at the zone walls
And add items to the merchants
