Default Running EQEmu 0.5.0 - Zone issues

Hey all,

I've been compiling the 0.5.0 CVS Source, and I have successfully compiled everything. I've run the minilogin, which worked... run world, which worked, and when running zone, I get the following:

Quote:
$ ./zone . 127.0.0.1 7995 127.0.0.1
Using database 'eq' at localhost
[Status] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_zone.log
[Status] CURRENT_ZONE_VERSION: EQEMu 0.5.0
[Normal] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_zone.log
[Normal] CURRENT_ZONE_VERSION: EQEMu 0.5.0
[Error] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_error_zone.log
[Error] CURRENT_ZONE_VERSION: EQEMu 0.5.0
[Debug] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_debug_zone.log
[Debug] CURRENT_ZONE_VERSION: EQEMu 0.5.0
[Status] Loading Variables
[Status] Loading zone names
[Status] Loading items
LoadEMuShareMemDLL::Load() failed to load library error=[Error] Loading items FAILED!
Failed. But ignoring error and going on...
[Status] Loading npcs
[Error] Loading npcs FAILED!
Anyone out there that might be able to assist me in debugging this?

Cheers,

Looks like it's not able to load libEMuShareMem.so. I put all compiled binaries into the same directory, so this solved the problem for me:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./

You may have to adjust the path to the .so as necessary.

Could one of the developers or people running an EQEmu server at version 0.5.0 get me a full listing of the files in their binary directory?

Cheers.

The libEMuShareMem.so is in /usr/lib/ and the emustart/emustop are script files done by Bigpull, you can get those from http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6489

The cleanipc.cpp can be found in the old cvs tree

echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH shows your path aswell.

Hey, I seem to have it all upand running, but I have removed libEMuShareMem.so from the equation. (simple makefile modification)... This runs the server great from what I can see, but takes up more memory, and will be slightly less well managed.

Now I get the following when a client attempts to connect to the server (note,l i am using minilogin:
