Default PacketCollector and dialup connections...

Is PC unable to sniff dialup connections? I think there are still lots of ppl on 56k willing to help with the collection. -d gives me my LAN and 1394 connections only.

Default Building on that....

Would you be able to sniff a known IP over the internet of a person that is running EQ? If so, then my friend is willing to go to some zones, and have my computer sniff away.

I don't think so. I believe the pcap interfaces are for NIC's only. Give it a shot, though - couldn't hurt.

Nope, in order to sniff, the traffic must be passing through your NIC. I would hope that generic internet traffic does not travel through Joe Schmoe's network card on the way to my PC.
