Is there a fast way of getting money? (A command of some sort?) I haven't seen one yet.

If all else fails im sure I can get a bunch of one item and sell it to the merchants.

As Muuss says. Whenever I needed cash (usually just on my own server for testing purposes), I would summon a stack of diamonds and sell them to a vendor. Rinse and repeat depending on how much you need for your purposes.

Umm.. could do #npcloot add [pp] [gp] [sp] [cp]

I believe that's the command, unless "money" is in their first. I'd have to look it up. But easy to add coin to a npc and kill it quick if you don't want to hassle with the db.

also summoning "bag of platinum" or somthing like that, i had one that sold to a merchant for 65000 pp (with an ogre sk cha) =P

another easy way is to #spawn Newbie (no other arguments, so he is level 1 by default)... then target him and type #npcloot add money pp gp sp cp , then kill him and loot him =] This saves you from logging out and needing to add values to your db.

The "Giant bag of platinum" is a good one, and hooks you up with crazy money, but also majorly encumbers you (even at level 65) unless you're a warrior with a major weight carrying ability.. If you DO summon this bag, make sure it's in a bank with a merchant and banker right there (rivervale bank is perfect for this).

How do I edit the char in the DB?

EqAdmin does this very well (be sure to use the latest release).
