Default Monk: Dual Wield

Hi guys,
This is my first post, so lemme start by saying
thanks for all the hard work the devs put in to get this far. I'm really impressed at how much has been done.

I am running a 5.7 DR2 LAN server. I noticed that dual wield is not working for monks. When I searched the forums, I found a few things that seemed helpful, but I'm not sure how relevant since the posts were 2 years old.

I just wanted to know if there was already a fix for this before I start messin with the code. If not, I'll start working on it and post what I come up with later.

Thanks,

Rocketdogg

I have amonk on Scorpious2k which is 5.7 DR2 and so do a lot of other people and dual weilding works perfectly fine. your problem may be that you have to train at least 1 point in the skill before you can equip a second weapon.

A long time ago there was a bug with dual wield that caused it to not work correctly if you used fists only. This really only affected monks.

I think it was fixed some time ago, but it may be back.

Btw: It is not neccessary to train 1 point in DW to use a secondary weapon.
