Default ummm...

IFirst off Ive seen 3 different how to's and they all say different 1 says to replace eq cliant file others dont mention it.
Well Im not very computer smart but I followed the directions on the 1 to the T, I changed my eqhost file, I changed the data rate file, and I even made the shortcut with patchme. (I didnt follow the one that said to replace eqcliant or aomthing like that because Im not to computer smart and Im not sure what they were talking about and also didnt want to screw anything up so I wouldnt be able to play regular EQ)
Well the first time I ty to log in it said logging in to server and it stayed like that for like 20 minutes and went no further. Then I try it agiabn tonight and it says eqwgame.exe has caused a problem and has to shit down, ive tried this a few times and same thing. It gives me the sae problem through the short cut, and also using EQwindows as well.

One last question, if for some odd reason I manage to get this working does EQwindows work with it? I play 2 chars at once when I play EQ so Im really used to EQ windows and the conveince it gives me to quickly open up to the message boards and such

Any help would be great
thanks

The current patch is not compatible with the Emu servers so you have to wait for it to be fixed so you can log on.
