Default Augments?

So, has anyone actually taken an indepth look at the augments code? If so, I would enjoy seeing some of your code snippets to see how much closer we are getting to structurize this into the source. I have tried manually attempting some of my own code in substitution, but none of it seems to fall into place.

Someone, enlighten us.
