Default Zone design question

Hi, I did a search for 1 word (complex), but didn't find an answer I was looking for. I was just curious which era of zones we're able to make for EQEmu? I was playing around with the zone builder, but I was only able to make a single level zone. Is it possible to make zones, like black burrow for instance? with tunnels winding around/over etc. Are we able to create zones similar to stuff all the way up to PoP? or is it more old world at the moment? (luclin previous)

I played EQ for almost 5 years and thought it would be fun to try and make my own zones. I use to play MUD's as well as build for a couple, and have been itching to make... something... for years.

Thanks for the info, and once I get my computer back online, i may try my hand at it and see what I can do.

OpenZone is a great tool, but hit its maximum when you want have a zone with a complex geometry. You might be able to create a black burrow zone like by playing with OpenZone and Dungeon Builder but it start to be a good challenge.
Another idea would be to use Q3 Radiant, but one of the big problem with radiant is you will have to force yourself to not do a Q3 like map

If you want to do complex zone, eqlive quality, the best thing is "hand edit", aka 3D Software, like 3DSMax / Maya, you can get GMax for free, its a great software. Those software will allow you to do impossible things with an editor.
