Default Which MUD(s) did you play "back in the day"?

MadROM (ROM 2.3) and Dimensions (ROM 2.4 modified) here.

Known as GovtCheeze and Theoden on both those servers.

So give a shout out to your old stomping ground...and possibly meet some old friends in the process.

Did play? Still do!

Medievia (medievia.com:4000)
Elwynn (65.16.28.106:5555)
Mind's Eye (mudrealms.net:3333)
Willowhaven (sdfmud.willowhaven.org:4000)

Some obviously more than others. Xzarkon/Galnoth/Tsiencu/Xaeo somewhere in each of those.

The first mud I ever played was called "The Keep" after that I played a few others that I cannot remember the names to, then I decided to run my own. It used to be called Ancient Realms, I worked on it for about 6 years and then turned it over to a RL friend who renamed it Shattered Lands. It was originally based off ROM but has been enanced quite a bit. Its still running today off my server. It doesnt have a large playerbase but the people that do play on it have been around for about 5 years. The total operation time of it is approching 8 years. Not too bad I dont think.

What do you mean, "back in the day?" MUDS are brilliant! I've played: MUD2, Medievia, and my own MUD, PortalMUD (currently on hiatus, though has been in verrrry slow development for over a year!) I've had a quick fiddle about on DiscworldMUD too!
