Error connecting to 0.5.9 DR 1

I d/'ed the precompiled binaries for 5.9 DR 1. I'm using the new PEQ db. I've changed loginserver.ini and eqhosts to point to newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994. I can see my server in the list while trying to connect. However, when selecting the server, the client gives a message "An unknown error has occurred while trying to join the server." I get a 1017 while trying to connect to legends (test).

You are either patched too old, or too new would be my guest... Check out the other reasons for having the 1017 error in the sticky "One stop error guide" at the top of this forum....
