Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default spell effects (visuals)
I can cast spells fine.
and also I see guard cast spells.
they do dammage so I know there working but Iam unable to see any spell effects (visuals) at all no matter what setting I use.

I tried /showspelleffects [ON/OFF] – Toggles spell effects (visuals) on or off.

but it didnt work..

any clues ?

possibly your missing some render effects files look in you eq directory under RenderingEffects. If thats not hte problem then i dunno, i would just advise to repatch and that should fix the problem.
