Loginserver Woes

I for one don't care to release the loginserver code or exes.. It was not made with the users in mind. That being said, I'm sure none of the devs have the time or even want to help people get it running. We have better things to do with our time/lives so I really think that demanding the loginserver (Which came from someone else's source whos not on the team and didn't authorize us to release his code) is a valid request.. You don't need it to live and if you don't trust us then why run our emulator?

I for one would have to say I trust you guys. I spent alot of time in IRC with you and on the message boards and all the devs are helpful and supportive. Do I know any of you? Nope I just happened upon the website back in November and have followed it ever since. To all the ones that still think everyone is out to get them realize that there are people who aren't trying to screw you and are not trying to bust you. Without the loginserver we would still be using non luclin builds with a modified eqmain.dll. The loginserver has given us that an more. Good job devs and know that the work you are doing is awesome.

Excuse me if I'm ignorant here but why not just code minilogin.exe so you can have an ini or db with whatever login/passwords you want in it? Why limit logins to 1/4/8/12/etc users?

Screw the login server for now......

When the DEVs are just about to totally quit updating the emulator....

THEN release the login source or exe
