		| Make shortcut to run EQEMu

 Open Windows Explorer

Navigate to your Everquest directory. Typically, this is c:\program files\everquest.

Locate the file eqgame.exe. This may take a while!

Using the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON, click and drag eqgame.exe from Windows Explorer to the desktop. This is what you should see:

In the menu that pops up after you complete the drag, select Create Shortcuts Here

A new icon has now been created on your desktop.

Right click on the newly created icon and select "Properties" on the menu.

In the Properties window that pops up, find the Target field on the Shortcut tab.

At the end of the text in this field, add a space with the space bar and then type in the word patchme. You should see something like the following:

Click OK in the properties window to save your change.
 |
you double click the shortcut you made................

Suggested it before and I'll suggest it again - a giant red "'I'm a noob" (or maybe "I'm a idiot") button on the front page that take you to a Fact, FAQ, and instuction page all combined into one.

It won't help. People ignore any obvious advice and skip straight to what they deem Tech Support to ask their question.
The number of people that post in a section asking a question which is stickied in the same section with a very obvious title... yeah :P
