IP is only per computer if you have multiple IPs provided from your ISP and you have your network setup to reflect those settings. Most ISPs will only allow you to have 1 IP address and that is given to your router. Your router then translates that IP address and allows all of the PCs on your network to appear as that one IP to everything else on the internet. This is called Network Address Translation (NAT) and is very common on almost all home networks these days. It also helps protect your PCs from full direct access to the internet, which keeps hackers out.

So, VZ/TZ sees the IP of your router only and any computers behind that router show up as coming from the same IP. So you can't have more than 2 connections per house-hold.

No, SZ/TZ is set up to only allow a max of 2 characters for a reason. Providing a way to get around that (if it was even possible) would be a smack in the face to the devs of that server. I honestly can't think of any way around it and even if I could, I certainly wouldn't post it here. That should be considered hacking as far as I am concerned and if the TZ/VZ team found out you were doing it, you would be banned.

So in short, the answer to your question is "no". You guys can each play 1 character at a time, but you cannot box any extra characters.

The only thing I can recommend for that is to bring this up on the TZ/VZ forums linked earlier in this thread. I doubt they will be able to do anything to help you though. They are limiting IPs so that people aren't boxing multiple characters to gain advantages over other players. Probably the only reason they even allow 2 connections is to allow wife/husband to play together, or any 2 people from the same house. It is pretty rare that 3 people from the same house would be playing together.
