Very nice thats tiny Ill try this but i cant beleive how small that is what are you using to pack them im using winace?

hmm I used your exact mehtod as stated and im sitting at 13mb 23mb on disk and i cant read the class race texture type as it is too small. I guess ill go at it again i dont know what i did wrong did you delete all the non working ones from the list?

note: may have somthing to do with I croped my jpgs smaller not starting from originals ill try from the original bitmaps and go through and see what hapens.

no.. you did right.. you convert from bmp to jpg.. first pass

second pass is crop down to 220 by 360 size centered

third pass is resize to 110 by 180..

There ya go

Default followed them

Ok omper I followed those steps again and in my chat box the wording is so distorted it cant be read are you just going to figure out what race combo it is by the file order or is there some way I can make the text larger when taking the screenshots?

note: I took all the Bmp's in 640x480 in windowed mode. Does windowed mode make a difference?

Im going to take teh POair shots in fullscreen mode just incase would it make the files larger after conversion if I used 800x600 or higher? Ive cleared 13GB on my HD.

Thank you for spearheading this it will be a great resource

full screen and you can change the font size.. here is the deal with that

i am renaming and loggin them before i do the final conversion..

so i think you are correct.. might just leave that last one to me..


ill have the ftp up some time today ... and a seperate ftp to upload the images from you to me. wont be long..

OK.. tonight i am finalizing the web thing.. Mattmeck has been so kind as to lend me some web space to do this.. he is setting it up.. i will be setting up a ftp site for you to upload the images to me.. please stay tuned for further updates..

On a side note.. I am still looking for someone who is real good at VB to do some additional work with me on the prog.. i got some great ideas.. but dont know how to implement them..
