I come from a PvP server, so I have a slightly different view I guess. I also started before Kunark came out. Kunark was a decent expansion, but it sucked for PvP. The land mass became too big, and PvP stopped having a purpose other than random encounters. You werent fighting for control of a dungeon or area now since people could just move to one of the many others available.

Velious imo was a great expansion. It added a ton of content to the high lvl game which was needed. There was plenty of low lvl content, but not as much high lvl content, and once you've been in the game for a while, you look for high level content, not more low lvl stuff.

Luclin had some decent ideas, but all in all, sucked bad as an expansion. Time sinks were introduced, which really sucked. Some of the zones were ok, but nothing that was all that new or interesting. The Bazaar was nice tho.

Planes of Power was imo a good and bad. It added alot of content for the higher end game, which by that time the majority of players were at. The zone progression was a good idea, but done a little roughly. I like PoP personally. The only real problem with PoP is that it made old world obsolete and undesirable for people around 58 or above.

LoY was not really an expansion imo, just an add-on to PoP to add content for people below 60.

I agree. Kunark was probably the best expansion so far. Luclin, in my opinion was a stinker. The only good parts were the new models, nexus and the bazaar. Actually, I'm not sure the spires/nexus was a good thing at all since it made druids/wizard ports somewhat less sought after. Oh well.

Default About LoY and PoP

I think it was pretty wrong of them to give you a travel node to lower timesinks of traveling greatly... and allow it only for those that give them extra cash, same thing about LoY, but, about their stupid tools, they rock, they are wonderful, but, I refuse to pay $20 to get them.

Velious was my favorite expansion. ToV loot was at the time, more desirable then 2 hookers at the bunnyranch.

I'm looking at this thread and having a chuckle. Each expansion had good and bad. A lot of it depends on your perspective.

Kunark was great, it spread people around a bit. Had very nice dungeons.

Velious was poor at best for me. It was way too raid oriented (which didn't fit my game style).

Luclin was terrible imo. This is where things started getting out of wack too much. Big line was drawn between the power gamers and the regular guys.

PoP seemed very restrictive, and terrible at first. However, this expansion had some of the best content ever! Stuff like trials (forget they were needed to advance in the planes, they were fun to figure out and beat), hedge maze, etc. Some of these encounters were a nice change to the usual camps.

LoY I have no clue. I was too close to quiting when it came out, I didn't bother.

LDoN sounds pretty nice to me. I always prefered single group over raids. This expansion almost makes me want to give Sony another 20$ to check it out. Bah, nm, I'll just borrow my friend's account.

So for me, that was 2 good, 2 bad, 1 unknown, 1 looking good. Guess it wasn't all that bad seen from this angle.

Default Champions of Norrath

Champions of Norrath http://championsofnorrath.station.sony.com/ intrests me a bunch. It is a PS2 rpg. It is probably the only way I will be able to fight any Uber MOBs not ever having any chances to go on Raids.

I think you are a little stupid ,are u?

If you dislike the grand mass continents or the same things one and another, go out and look for a new game , this is my advice for you.

Enjoy the game!!
Ok, let's see who is the -. A little stupid? I said the original EQ rocked, which is why I was here. (GuildWars you -. Not to mention the fact that before GuildWars I played when PoP wasn't around. I can play with the expansions, but it doesn't mean I have to like them. Luclin made some sense, and I understand why some people liked it. But PoP and Now this new one? No..) So technically, I am not here to play the - expansions but the original EQ. But I removed all EQ contents from my computer and am now here for the forum. EDIT BY SLAYER02 - Edited for language

Well technically, you have to pay for the expansions to play on live, but LoY was a free download, you just couldnt play it unless you bought a key. (Or got one for free like me! :P )
