No big deal, hell... Stunning's a part of EQ life.

Problem is... it never ever fades. I can't move, i can't cast, i can't zone, etc etc etc. All i can do is /q...

Also tried it on Stormweavers, and cast stonespiderstun on myself.

Stonespiderstun is a stun spell that lasts for 20 seconds, with a little DD component.

Again, i become permastunned.

No one else on the server(s) appears to be having this problem... im curious to know if it's client side, or a server-related issue?

Thanks =)
it happens to me too, but with higher level mobs (such as the pod).

Mehean

65 war on BB

PS - have also found the following bugs --

1) if player dex is in range between 265 ~279 (not sure of lower bound), the player has constant critical hits. It doesnt appear that the damage changes for the crits, but you are flooded with Mehean has scored a critical hit! message.

5.1 Starts Here
-----------------------

I'm not sure if these are DB or Eqemu problems, but just in case I will post the bugs I have been experiencing.

1) Spells. Like other posters I have had problems with casting spells, except in this case almost none of the enchanter spells could be memorized without getting an error saying Unexpected Error: Class cant use this spell at your level, and forcing me to camp out because the left mouse button ceases to function for most parts of the UI. Trying to use hotbuttons results in a You can't use that command right now.... I'm not sure if it applies to other classes' spells, but it's likely that this is so. I used the #scribespells 65 command to scribe them. I'm using the Database MWnpcmovDB_050_alpha0_3

2) Mobs attacking. It's quite disturbing to see a goblin who is attacking you, turn around and moon you for the duration of the battle. Many mobs are now fighting from the rear or side, instead of turning to face you and then attacking. Sometimes mobs will even hit you from long distances, much farther than you can hit. This seems to happen most when a mob aggros, rather than you engaging the fight.

3) Fish and AA's. I know AA's aren't finished but many of them that you can purchase and make hotkeys of, don't do anything. I'm not sure if restricting certain npcs to water was ever added, but if so it needs some repairing, because we've got some fish out of water.

4) FQadmin. With 5.0, I had no problems accessing the database, but now with 5.1, trying to go to any tab related to items results in errors. It might just be an FQadmin problem, since it's probably outdated now.

Wow! You got TCS's database to work with 5.1? So far i use the "fix" he done for DR2, but no dice for 5.1 as of now.. (for me that is)..

Anyway.. Yes.. the spells cannot be memmed.. at least most of them cant for any class i asume.. (tested pally, bst, ranger)..

Can make hotbuttons with #cast spellid .. but its kinda.. well.. heh
