Ya i agree with Ramones as being probably the first real Punks, but....they didn't really have the attire....which is a minor detail IMO. You're right it is about the beliefs. And no, the modern-day "punk" bands don't really have 'em or else they've lost their way after becoming famous. People- Green Day, Blink, etc etc these are not punk bands these are >>Alternative<< call it "Nu" punk if u want but whatever.

Hey Lasiel I wear T-shirts and cargo pants, go to a private school in the Bible Belt, but I'm an anarchist and an atheist and a pacifist and anti-corporate and anti-conservative. So even though I don't have the clothes, does that make me punk?

And I still think British people make better punks tho. That accent gives it a little something.

Punk is a mindest, so yeah you probably are I know a lot of people who don't even listen to punk or remotely look like punks but have extremely punk ideologies. Hell I'm 39 and haven't looked like a punk for probably a decade, but still hold the same ideologies I used to.

All music is an excuse for Devs and DBers to cease working on their life's work.

I hadnt read all the messages above. I had more important things to do. I don't mind what they said.

In fact, I had seen a message of "I dont know who" that had a image with Spain LOL (or something like this) and that critizises me.

I dont care if you think I am an idiot, its your own opinion, and you had the right of think what you want.

But SPAIN is not cool. Its a big shit, like USA, but a little more poor and without Twisters or hearthquakes. I dont like it. But i was born here and live here too.

Is this a reason for me to be a patriot? No. I am fighting )in the streets, and in associations, to change this shit, this government, this capitalism that you had imposed to the world. But people dont mind on it. Live their lifes. Until they are dead, and they go to the.... heaven? or hell? or what? Whe they die, the began to rotten themselves. Like the corpses on the 11S, that must be on their bones , or the recently Spanish & US soldiers deads in Irak.

Fuck you!! And use your time well, tomorrow you would be dead and had your last breath.

How happy I will be if you die tomorrow! :P

p.d.: Soprry for my english. I didnt grew up knowing it. I had to learn it after, and Im not a perfectly speaker.

WHO SAID I WAS A PUNK??
Im not a punk. I'm anti (against) fascism, anarchist, and FREE (in the way its possible), but my brother and friends are punks, and I know of what im talking. And to be a punk is not only to wear a crest or leather boots, or to listen.... Cockney Rejects or... Suburban Rebels. Is more like this, its a way of life. And who someone can be a punk when he works on MR$OFT company and wins a lot of money? This person dont have the ideals of the punk people, and couldnt be a punk unless he/she says that he/she is.

Do you understand it?

Different cultures/But only one end => FREEDOM for all.
This is a composition that everybody says or thinks, but do you practice it? Or your acts are against? Think around it, and dont reply. Keep your answer for you.

Would this world be a better place if it had one person in it?

If only two people lived in this world, there would still be arguments. If three people lived in this world, there would still be arguments. If more than 7 billion people lived in this world, there would still be arguments. As long as we are human...there will always be arguments, provided that there are more than one of us alive.

I don't like the idea of being 'ruled' or having 'decisions made' by one person or even a group of people either....not many people do, unless they make the decisions THEY like. But we are too narrow minded to think of a way around it. We can think of lots of ways people can be controlled though, such as violence, humiliation, majority, pressure, destruction, poverty and starvation (and even more).

Freedom still only exists within our mind. That is why we were given our mind. Fighting gets us no where and the fact that somehow some idiot came up with the saying (and most people liked it and agreed), "There can be no peace without war", shows exactly WHY WE HAVE NO PEACE. We find it too difficult to think of any other way and even when we do, we hardly EVER pursue it.

you have not reason with it.
Freedom could be possible, but a part of us didnt want.
I can "forget" all the past and began a new world. Its possible. But there are a lot of people with hate keep inside himself and cant forget. This is the very problem.
A new world is possible, with no war and collaboration togheter, but there are many minds closed, and Today, this world is impossible.
I think that 1 day this world came us...

You talk about a new world without war, and at the same time you advocate violence against innocents and anarchy...

You dont have a clue what you're talking about..

I'm finally locking this thread, which i should have long ago. If you continue your bullshit, I'll ban/lock your email addresses (which btw is a free mail host, explicitly against our rules) , and make sure you dont get back into EQEMU. This is your final warning regarding this...

I am not against free rights or free speech, but I had friends that were crying that they had family that would never be coming home for Christmas again after 9/11 while you and your friends 'celebrated' the great victory against 5000 innocent international mothers, fathers, and children... Im past the point in being annoyed by your ignornance and calous remarks....

Good... You would have trouble sleeping at night then if you understood my opinion of your intellect at this point.
