Disconnect after Character Select

Hi all,

I've been searching the forums for a couple of hours and I don't see anything in the FAQ nor the forums; all the disconnect issues seem to be from the server host's side. Sorry if it is buried somewhere.

I've been attempting to connect to servers, Storm Haven, EZ, Classless with my RoF2 client on Windows 10

I can create the characters but when trying to enter the world, it says "You've been disconnected" and it sends me back to the login screen. Earlier, it was saying "Server is not responding."

I've followed all the steps on the walk-through's, changed eqhost, disabled firewall, ran compatibility mode (for a variety of modes)

What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

Apparently tethering resolves the issue, I'll identify network settings later.
