Default Is it possible to change the loading screen text?

When I load into the game or into a new zone, the splash screen appears and the loading bar moves, and there is text there. I was wondering if there was some way I could adjust the text on my own server. And if so, how would I do that?

It is part of your client (eqgame.exe)

I believe the funny ones (like "Looking up barbarian kilts") are hard-coded into the client, but the regular ones ("Loading Character Equipment Files", etc), are in the Resources\GlobalLoad.txt file.

I was adding the _obj files to the GlobalLoad.txt (in resources folder) and added in some joke text to see if it would show in the loading text box and it did! not sure if it rendered the purpose of the text usesless but it did show my custom text i type in the blank spot :

BEFORE:

Code:
4,0,TFFF,veeshan_obj,Loading Global Items and Equipment

AFTER:

Code:
4,0,TFFF,veeshan_obj,giant eggs!!!!

(not sure if it will load veeshan_obj correctly in the above example but it WILL say "giant eggs!!!!" for a second or two during loading... anyone know if this works or if theres a way to make this work without having to load stuff?)

Sorrya bout double post - But heres a screenshot of another custom loading text on the server I'm building - Just took this today as a way to affirm that
custom loading text -is- easily possible - haven't seen much documentation on it, thought i'd contribute.
