The short version is that it doesn't matter if it's single threaded or not. If an application was not written with multiple CPUs in mind, it may not run properly on a multi-CPU, multi-core system.
This is not to say it won't run, just that it may not be running as efficiently as it could.
** The Emulator is single threaded? Every zone is on the same thread??
