Default EQLive issue -- EQEmu issue?

I experienced one issue with not seeing horses on my end, otherwise I would have gotten the packets for horses to the staff/developers here. Today, it seems that EQ has decided to sneak out a patch, because I could login to both official and unofficial servers, and now -- I am forced to update. I don't know, maybe it's on me; but watch out.

I would make my recommendtations, but they'd be ignored or over looked or forgotten, so use this warning at your own risk! I will reply later with any updates, hopefully today or tomorrow. EQEmu staff, watch out, they may have changed it again!

This is a good reminder to everyone, if you want to play with both eqLive and EQEMU,

KEEP 2 COPIES OF EVERQUEST, ONE FOR PLAYING ON THEIR SERVERS, AND ONE FOR PLAYING ON OURS, AND ONLY PATCH/UPDATE THE EQEMU ONE WHEN THE DEV TEAM GIVES A PATCH THE THUMBS UP...

Otherwise, patching for SOE might make you SOL...

That's what I do, and both copies were doing it. Noone could figure it out on EQLive or out of EQLive.
